Return on Investment (ROI) for Pressure Pipelines' Condition Assessment

Attend this workshop and Earn .7 CEUs!

Summary: Well rationalized condition assessment programs are efficient and cost-effective when compared to one-off projects. Municipal and industry experts will present how return on investment and other economic analysis tools (e.g., benefit-cost, breakeven, and alternatives analyses) can be used to inform overall planning and to develop condition assessment programs for water and force-main pipelines. Risk-based approach to prioritize pipes for condition will be presented. Advantages and limitations of selected condition assessment techniques for pressure pipelines will be discussed. Case studies highlighting the advantages and practical limitations of selected condition assessment tools be presented. Location: Mississauga Grand, 35 Brunel Road, Mississauga.
