2018 CATT Annual General Meeting

CATT held it’s annual general meeting on October 11, 2018 at the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Over 75 representatives from municipalities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers attended the event. CATT Board of Directors (BOD) Chair, Jason Johnson, introduced the 2018/19 BOD. CATT also announced the winners of the 2017/18 Award of Excellence to recognize outstanding people, organizations and projects that were instrumental in advancing the trenchless industry locally and internationally. Earth Boring Company Ltd. won the award in the Organization Category. In the Project category, City of Cambridge, GHD Consultants and LiquiForce Services won the award for their work on the Hespeler Trunk Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. Kevin Bainbridge from Robinson Consultants won the award in the Individual category. The meeting concluded with the keynote address by Kevin Bainbridge who discussed how the trenchless rehabilitation saved millions of dollars for municipalities and water utilities and extended service life of existing buried infrastructure.
