Trenchless Technologies provide cost-effective and efficient tools and techniques for pipelines’ condition assessment, rehabilitation and replacement with minimum or no excavation or surface disruption. This course will provide an introduction to various “trenchless tools in the toolbox” for water and wastewater pipelines. This will include water and wastewater pipelines’ condition assessment, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Pipe Jacking and Microtunneling, and rehabilitation of pipelines using cured-in-place pipe liners.
This workshop, offered in partnership with Ontario Good Roads Association, consists of 2 parts:
1. February 22: Introduction to Wastewater Pipelines Construction, Condition Assessment and Renovation using Trenchless Construction Methods
2. February 23: Introduction to Potable Water Pipelines Construction, Condition Assessment and Renovation using Trenchless Construction Methods
